Making the screen and the hand agree.

A knob display is judged in the first few seconds: the interface has to answer every turn and press without lag, the animation has to follow the cap, and the cap, the display and the housing have to look like one part. Users do not name these faults, they just say the product feels cheap. The interface design, the display and the cap are worked on together, not bought separately and bolted on.

OTA

OTA is in every connected design

Firmware ships with a dual-partition layout and automatic fallback, so an interrupted update boots the previous image instead of bricking the unit. Updates go out in staged batches from the device cloud, with version reporting per unit. It is designed in at the first prototype, not added before launch.
